I graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Family Human Development emphasis in Early Childhood Development.
I also earned a certificate in Early Childhood Education at Utah Valley State College. I value the experiences I had all those years ago and have used them to develop a fun and productive curriculum.

Working with children is a love of mine and I think they recognize that. Children feel important and loved in my presence. Any fears or reservations brought to preschool are quickly abated and the children blossom and become involved quickly. I'm happy to be doing something so fulfilling!

In addition to preschool, I also work as a kindergarten reading teacher and classroom aide. My first hand involvement in the kindergarten classroom gives me invaluable experience as a preschool teacher.

I am the mother of 5 children ages 16, 14, 11, 8, 5. I have been actively involved in activities with youth including 7 years as a room parent, 2 years as Chair of the Sidewalk Art activity as part of Nibley Heritage Days, group leader in NCT and serving in primary.

I am married to Austin Wood (coming up on 19 years).
We have lived in Nibley a little over eleven years.
